Greenes Fence Raised Box Garden Kit
If you’re wanting a raised box garden but you want something easy….then check out the Greenes Fence raised box garden kit.
Why try to build one from scratch? You have to buy the lumber and get it cut or cut it yourself. Haul the lumber home and then figure out how to fasten it together. Why?
Do it the easy way like I did. Buy a kit…and it gets delivered to your doorstep. Now assemble it in your backyard in 15 minutes. Fill it with compost, soil and coconut coir and now you’re ready to plant.
Let’s take a look at the raised box garden kit.
Here’s the insides of the Greenes Fence Raised Box Garden Kit. You get 8 cedar side pieces, 4 corners, 4 corner tops and some screws.
The sides slide into slots cut in the corner pieces, so there’s no screws or bolts or glue used to hold the box garden together. The only screws used are to hold the decorator pieces on top of the corners. I think it took about 15 minutes to assemble.
Here it is in my back yard. I just dumped 2 bags of composted manure in. I put a block of Coconut Coir in the bottom first and mixed it with the native soil. The dimensions are 4 foot by 4 foot by 7 inches high or deep.
